Alex Di Ciò
Historic Italian DJ Producer & Remixer, vinyl collector since the end of the ’70s, he began his intense career as a deejay in 1981, exploring and experimenting refined and cultured sounds of black matrix contaminated by the mixture of past and future. In the mid-80s Alex was a pioneer of the primordial House Music and in the late ‘80s he was a precursor of the Acid Jazz movement. Since the mid-90s he has assisted various renowned musicians around the world arranging musical projects with a Funk & Soul flavour released on prestigious labels. He is a true legend, a charismatic figure protagonist in the music scene for forty years who marks his works with the Jus’ Groove brand. The American magazine SOULetter reviews Alex as one of the top international DJ Remixers. In the last four years he has made sixteen UK Soul Hits with his remixes on prestigious international labels working with awesome singers like Jody Watley, Daisy Hicks, Alicia Myers, RĀI and the Italian groups Gazzara, Adika Pongo and Papik. His re-edits and reworks of rare and classic Disco/Boogie/Funk tracks are proving to have considerable success all over the world, played by the best international DJs and radio stations.
