Rob Johnson Smooth Grooves

Born in Bristol: but lived in Croydon, South London since the age of 6.

I have been playing Jazz Funk Soul Disco music at parties, pubs, and various social events, since the late 1970’s

Grew up on a diet of Robbie Vincent and Greg Edwards and the pirate radio stations JFM and Radio Horizon

Between 1988-92 had a radio show at the University of Hertfordshire

Funk and soul music has been a major part of my life, so to get to play this type of music on the radio,

gives me great pleasure.
