Frankie Park

Frankie began life as a model; living and working in New York from the age of 18. She had the privileges of being in the heart of the New York music and club scene – during the late 80s – as well as being at the forefront of all things fashion. Her modelling work took her all over the world – literally from New York to Switzerland; Brazil to Spain; South Africa to France; Germany to Italy etc.

In 1990, when she had her first son, she finally settled back in London, living in the vibrant Portobello, where her love of music continued to be satiated by her numerous musician friends around.

During the 90s Frankie also began her acting career, where she worked mainly in TV Comedy with people such as Ben Elton, Hale and Pace, The Friday Night Armistice, The Comic Strip, and more, as well as performing in commercials and some more off-the-wall productions, including doing a film with artist Damien Hirst.

Frankie also began writing during this time, getting her novel, Bing Banged My Lula, published by Orion in 2000. This coincided with her being pregnant with her second son, at which point she moved to the Twickenham area.

Focussing more on being a parent, Frankie returned to modelling, but mainly in London, only shooting abroad occasionally.

Around 2010 she began working for the shopping channel QVC, where she became a regular face on air. A few years later she moved from modelling to presenting fashion, which she loved as it was Live TV. She would present either one or two hour long shows two to three times a week.

However, when COVID struck her life became very much centred around walks in the park with her beloved dog. This was when she met her now partner in pretty much everything, Malachi.

Frankie loved making the transition from television to radio. She initially simply went into the station to keep Malachi company for one of his shows – he persuaded her to come again, and the rest is history. Frankie still does the occasional shoot or acting job, mostly commercials, but her love of music and working in it (she co-runs Dynamite Cuts and Skyline Recordings, as well as co-hosting the radio shows) surpasses all now – except for the dogs of course.
